Lightning Rules

I have never been able to capture lightning on film as I see it in those cool storm photos. While I wasn't able to capture the lightning that spreads across the whole sky (and there was lots of it this night, I'm just not that fast) I'm very proud of these photos, having taken them standing still, lens pointed at the sky, with my finger on the button. This method will have to do until I am able to afford a state-of-the-art camera with a motion sensor.
