My brother Brian and his fiancee Rickelle visited us this past weekend. They said that they had a good time, despite the
crummiest weather we've had here in Denver since last winter. Really, it never rains here. Yet, it managed to rain the entire time they were here. We had plans to go to Estes Park but didn't get to do that because it was too foggy (and rainy) and we wouldn't be able to see anything. So we did what any person does on a rainy day...ate and drank alot.
B & R at Wynkoop brewery sampling their beer flight.

Outside of Coors brewery waiting to get in. Very windy, very rainy, and very cold.

The beer vats or whatever you call them: (Sean, some assistance on terminology please?)

Drinking the 4 free glasses of beer at the end of the tour:
1 comment:
If the vessel is used during the mashing or lautering stage, it is called a "tun." If it is used for boiling the wort, it is a "kettle."
