Valentine's Day 2009

We went to one of those places where you paint a piece of pottery for Valentine's Day. I've always wanted to do this and Matthew remembered this, keeping it a surprise until we got there. We chose to paint a piggy bank because we currently keep our loose change in a ziplock bag on our dresser and I think this cute little pig will do a much better job of holding our pennies for us. We're really big on saving all of our loose change -- do you realize how quickly it adds up? We've cashed in our change a couple of times, and each time it ends up being over $50. Check back in a week to see the finished product --that's when we'll pick our little piggy up after he's been fired in the kiln -- which sounds really terrible but trust me, he'll be beautiful!
